Winter futsal tournament

The Winter Futsal Tournament is a one‑day indoor competition. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of two matches in a fast‑paced, high‑intensity futsal environment with $1,000 in prizes at stake. The event will take place at Académie Lafontaine in Saint‑Jérôme. It will be a quality competition in an exciting atmosphere for both players and spectators. Information about the tournament

Location: Académie Lafontaine in St-Jérôme
Date and time: Saturday March 21st, 5pm to 9pm
Age: 16 years old and older
Prize: 1000$ for the champion team
Registration Fee: 300$ per team
2 matchs guaranteed per team
maximun of 8 players per team, minimum 5 players per team
Get at least one of your matches recorded with professional equipment. It will be sent to you after the tournament.

Administrative Rules

All underage players must have written permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in the tournament.

Teams must be ready at the scheduled kickoff time. A delay of more than 3 minutes results in a forfeit (3–0 win for the opponent).

Rosters are locked after the first match. No additional players may join after a team’s first game.

A team must have at least 4 players to start a match. Otherwise, the match is a forfeit.

Abusive behaviour toward officials, players, spectators, or staff may lead to ejection from the venue without refund.

Teams are responsible for their own equipment. The tournament is not liable for lost or damaged personal items.

All players participate at their own risk. The tournament organizers are not responsible for injuries sustained during the event.

The organizer reserves the right to adjust the schedule, shorten matches, or cancel the event if necessary. No refunds for changes caused by circumstances beyond the organizer’s control.

Groups & Advancement

3 groups total. The winner of each group advances to the semifinals.

The best second-place team across all groups also advances.

If teams are tied in the standings, goal difference is the first tiebreaker.

Match Format

2 halves of 10 minutes (running time).

3-minute halftime.

4 field players + 1 goalkeeper on the court at all times.

Semifinals and Final: If tied at the end of regulation, the match goes directly to penalty kicks (no overtime).

Substitutions

Unlimited substitutions, on the fly.

Fouls

When a team reaches 5 accumulated fouls during a match, the opponent is awarded a penalty kick.

Every foul after the 5th also results in a penalty kick.

A sliding tackle results in an indirect free kick for the opposing team.
